# Introduction

> A headless API for construction document management.

The CMS API is your CRUD interface for managing projects and reading every entity in the [Drawing Index](/guides/the-drawing-index). Create projects, upload drawings, and query all extracted data through a standard REST interface.

All requests require an API key. See [Authentication](/api-reference/authentication) and [Errors](/api-reference/errors) for details.
