# Files

> Uploaded documents.

A File is any document uploaded to a [Project](/guides/concepts/projects). When you upload a PDF drawing set, it becomes a File first, then Bedrock processes it into a [Drawing](/guides/concepts/drawings).

## Supported formats

| Format | Extensions                       |
| ------ | -------------------------------- |
| PDF    | `.pdf`                           |
| Images | `.png`, `.jpg`, `.jpeg`, `.tiff` |
